Analysts from FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast LatinFocus revised the rise in August the growth projection of Peruvian manufacturing from 2021 to 2023, therefore the country’s industrial production will record a greater advance than the Latin American average in the analysis period.
Peruvian manufacturing will expand 13.14% next year, 5.9% in 2022 and 5.1% in 2023, while Latin America’s average will advance 4.9% in 2021, 3.6% in 2022 and 3.2% in 2023, projected.
Year 2021
According to analysts, next year, Peru will guide manufacturing growth in Latin America with the advance of 13.4%, followed by Argentina and Brazil with expansions of 6.4% and 5.8% respectively. It will be followed by industrial production in Colombia (5.7%), Uruguay (3.6%), Ecuador (3.3%), Mexico (3.1%) Chile (1.2%).
Year 2022
Peru will also lead manufacturing expansion in Latin America in 2022 with a 5.9% advance, followed by Argentina and Brazil with growth of 4.1% and 4%respectively. It will be followed by industrial production in Uruguay (3.9%), Colombia (3.8%), Mexico (2.8%) Ecuador (2.4%).
Year 2023
In Latin America, Peru will lead the expansion of manufacturing activity in 2023 with the advance of 5.1%, followed by Uruguay and Colombia with growth of 3.7% and 3.6%respectively. It will be followed by industrial production from Argentina (3.4%), Brazil (3.4%), Mexico (2.6%) Ecuador (2.2%).
